Ashley is a Land Use Planner in Los Angeles and serves as the Director of Youth Services on our Board. Ashley first came to the community of Westmont/West Athens after the senseless killing of Black and Brown youth, Rest in Peace Carnell Snell.

She later played a role as a Community Worker with the Department of Public Health through the Trauma Prevention Initiative and supported the organization with the development of the “Cut The Red Tape” Initiative which forges gaps in County & City services and provides positive community outcomes by promoting redevelopment in their district.

Ashley has a background in community engagement, environmental justice and urban planning. Her passion is to hold governing entities accountable, transform communities and give back to Community Centers that impact generations of people. On her free time, Ashley enjoys urban farming, biking, arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors and spending time with her loved ones.
